Your winter term meal plan will continue to work through the spring break. Any remaining swipes and Dining Dollars on your plan will be available.

Ivy Unlimited Plan: Unlimited meal swipes continue through spring break. Plus, your Dining Dollars will be available, and all unused balances will carry forward until Commencement in June.

Block Plans: When your swipes for the term run out, you can continue using Dining Dollars for meals. If you run out of meal swipes and Dining Dollars, you can continue eating with DDS using the Meal Subsidy Program, which uses DDS Charging and a later reimbursement credit in D-Pay.

The Meal Subsidy Program works exclusively at 1953 Commons and is available only for undergraduate students meeting all three criteria below:

  • Those who meet financial eligibility criteria determined by the Financial Aid Office
  • Those who have used all of their winter term meal swipes and Dining Dollars
  • Those who are staying in campus-managed housing during the break

The subsidy only applies to days you are approved for interim housing. This program uses the DDS charging account on your ID card for meals up to a maximum of $35.35/day for meals at 1953 Commons. That amount is designed to cover up to two meals each day. Daily charges up to $35.35 will be credited to your student account/D-Pay.
